Sepiolite is a hydrous magnesium silicate distinguished by its needle-like fibrous crystal structure. That microstructure gives it an unusually high surface area and porosity — the source of its exceptional absorption and thickening behaviour.
Türkiye is one of the world’s foremost sources of high-quality sepiolite, and Anker Mining Co. extracts it directly from reserves in the Eskişehir region — the same geology that has made Turkish sepiolite renowned for generations.
